gale cottage

there was a mass migration to kingsand this weekend for rebecca and nick's wedding. bunch of us are sorting out wedding photos into one big photo hit so for now here's a peak at non-ceremony stuff

the whole area is amazing and the locals are lovely. i took the train down and went straight to the pub (via a bus and a ferry). couple smoking outside the pub didn't even blink when i walked up: "your mates are waiting for you" they said, and opened the door for me

fast-forward to post-pub at our cottage. danny managed to find a great place so we had an after-hours soiree, even though we had a wedding to go to the next day

quote of the evening: bishop "there's nick cave". rebecca: "WHERE?!!??...oh"

am sure everyone has a photo of danny like this. some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. danny arrived carrying a shitty stick

pre-wedding hangover was taken care of with a stack of bacon and a bracing walk on the beach

kingsand is tiny so it was easy to learn the lay of the land and how things work quite quickly. every person you see on the street says "good morning!" and actually means it (a bit like minnesota). also, almost everyone seems to have a dog. i even saw a frenchie in the passenger seat of someone's car

like i said before there's a temporary wedding photo embargo going on so this is the best you're getting from me for now
